Four varistors on the MEMS chip of the single-chip force sensor form a Wheatstone bridge structure. When the external force acts on the device, the device deforms and the resistance value of the varistor changes accordingly. Due to the different placement positions of the resistors, the resistance value of the varistor also changes correspondingly, and the Wheatstone bridge generates analog differential signal output.
The integrated force sensor integrates a MEMS force sensor chip and a signal processing ASIC chip in a single package. The ASIC implements signal amplification, ADC conversion, and signal processing, and outputs an interrupt signal at the INT pin when there is a pressing action. Each device of the integrated force sensor is calibrated before leaving the factory to ensure the output consistency. When the whole machine is applied, the threshold register is configured through the I2C interface, and the main control can flexibly set different pressing thresholds for different models, and at the same time, it can also realize the function of zeroing to eliminate the pre-pressure during assembly.
