HK6501 is an open-drain output temperature switch that contains a bandgap temperature sensor to sense local temperature and an 11-bit ADC for data conversion. When the temperature exceeds the set temperature trigger point, the logic output is activated. The logic output of HK6501 is an active-low open-drain output. Temperature is digitized with a resolution of 0.125°C. The temperature trip points are factory set in 10°C steps and their logic outputs become active when the temperature is above the selected trip point. No external compensation is required, and the pin is used to select whether the hysteresis amount is 2°C or 10°C.
